Cody Campbell, chair of the Texas Tech University System's Board of Regents, praised the graduates for upholding the pioneering spirit that defines the School of Veterinary Medicine's inaugural class.
"As a Texas Tech alumnus and fellow Red Raider, I share the excitement with each graduate," he said, "and on behalf of the Board of Regents, I pay tribute to those of you who will receive your diplomas today. That fact that you are here today is a sign of your commitment and your dedication."
During the final semester for this graduating class, the School of Veterinary Medicine also completed its final step in the accreditation process. Those results will be known this fall.
